Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look of Love In A Palette

It's Spring and that means beauty brands are releasing new products and collections for the new season. Charlotte Tilbury has released two face and eye palettes, one for fair to light skin tones and another for medium to deep skin tones. I'm very happy about this as in the past she's only released one of these palettes and of course that meant that lots of people were left out however now that's changed! Today I'm going to review the fair to light palette which is called Pretty Blushed Beauty. It contains three eyeshadows, a bronzer, a blusher, a highlighter and a face powder which I believe is the same shade as the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in Shade 1, which is very handy to have when you need to touch up while you're out and about. This would definitely be a great palette to take with you on holiday, or for this year more likely a staycation as it has everything you need to look great, you just need to take a mascara, lipstick and a concealer or foundation with you and that's it!

Let's start by talking about the eyeshadow shades. This palette follows a similar number set system to her original eye shadow quads however this time it starts with the Pop shade which is a gorgeous bronze, golden glitter, then the Eye Enhance shade which is a taupe brown shimmer which can be built up to be more intense and lastly we have the Smoke shade which is a warm toned medium matte brown shade which is perfect as the name suggests for smoking out the look but it's also perfect for adding some colour to the crease of the eye to give the eyes more definition and intensity.

The bronzer is very similar to the original Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette, so not too cool or too warm toned, it just sits right in the middle which perfect! You could try and use it to contour however because it's not officially a cool toned shade I wouldn't bother as you may not get the result you want. The blusher is similar in the sense that it's neither a cool pink or a warm pink, it sits somewhere in the middle which I appreciate as I struggle to wear most pink blushers because they either make me look like a clown or Barbie, this is one of the few that actually looks good and you don't need to apply much as a little goes a long way, same with the bronzer.

The highlighter is a lovely champagne colour that will look beautiful on everyone. Also you can never go overboard with it as it's a very buildable formula, so you won't accidently put on too much straightaway. The face powder is perfect for anyone with a fair to light skin tone as it blends seamlessly into the skin, it doesn't even look like you're wearing an powder, it's that good!

This is all the products on my face apart from the bronzer as I have a small face, so I couldn't fit it between my blusher and highlighter which you can see here.

From testing out the palette for a couple of weeks now I can confidently say that I love it! It's the only palette I've been wearing as it has everything you need to complete a great makeup look. You can get it here for £55.

Have you purchased either of the new Look of Love face and eye palettes? If you have let me know what you think.
