Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser Review

I've been trying to find the best tinted moisturiser that lasts longer than a couple of hours on oily to combination skin and I think that I may have found it with the Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser. The reason why this is different to other tinted moisturisers is that this is the only one that I've tried that actually sets down on the face, therefore you don't have to worry about it moving around your face. Also this means that if you don't want to powder over it that's fine as it leaves a gorgeous but yet subtle glow to the skin. I have it in the shade Vanilla which is the third lightest, so it's perfect for this time of year as it's a light almost medium yellow based colour however of course like all tinted moisturisers the colour adapts to your skin tone, although I do think that they could have more shades than they currently do. Another reason why I think it's a great product is because it actually gives a light to medium coverage, which is great if like me you don't have clear skin however you still want something to cover up any redness or scarring from previous spots. It also contains SPF 15, although I would still recommend using a proper spf under your base just to give that extra protection against sun damage!

Here's a swatch of shade Vanilla

I truly think that this product is worth buying however it is quite expensive, so I would recommend getting it when it's on discount, or say if you have some Space NK points to use up, then this would be the perfect product to use them for.

Thanks for reading and let me know what your favourite base product is, I'd love to know!

All the best & stay safe

  1. I've heard amazing things about this - as you say it is very expensive, though. However, I do have a Space NK gift card, so maybe I'll treat myself!

  2. Yeah that's a good idea. Although actually now as the stores are beginning to open again maybe ask them if they have a sample of it to try as they only have a few shades, so it would be good as you'd get a better chance of picking the right match for you! xx
