I was tagged by Molly from http://mollylouiseblogs.blogspot.co.uk/ to do The Summer Tag, so here it goes!
What's Your Favourite Thing About Summer?
Well the first thing is that I love that it stays light until around half 9 at night, so if you want to you could literally spend almost all day outside which is so much better than the winter when it gets dark at 4pm! Second would be that I love the general scents of summer. Like when there's freshly cut grass or that really random smell there is at the end of a hot day that I think is caused by the pollen in the air, but it just smells so gardeny, I love it! My last thing is not having to figure out what coats, jackets or cardis you need to wear which makes going out of the house a bit quicker than usual.
Do You Have A Favourite Summer Drink?
When I'm not being boring by simply drinking water, I would probably choose lemonade or a flavoured sparkling water, like lemon and lime, strawberry or peach.
Is There A Location You Like To Go To Each Summer?
Umm, to be honest there's not a summery place that me and my family go to every year. We visit London a lot generally as all my family have lived there at some point so there's a connection there which is why we always go back there. But we never really visit any seaside places, so no not really.
Favourite Makeup Look For Summer?
Definitely simple eye makeup like mascara with maybe a little eye shadow, concealer and either a tinted lip balm or if I am feeling brave and I am going out somewhere special for the day, maybe a bold lip like a bright orangey coral lipstick.
Dresses Or Skirts?
Dresses for sure. Not only are they easier to style obviously, but I look better in them as I tend to find that flowy, summery skirts make me look really young for my age as they make me look about 12 or 13 as I'm short for my age and I already look young for my age even though I'm in my late teens, so I don't want to look any younger thank you very much haha.
Sandals Or Ballet Pumps?
I always wear ballet pumps anyway most of the time, apart from when winter hits us really hard and it gets proper chilly, so in the summer I would carry on wearing them as they look cute and go with practically any outfit, especially if they are a neutral or black in colour.
Hair Up Or Down For Summer?
90% of the time I don't like wearing my hair up as I don't think it really suits me. Maybe I would wear it up if it was scorching hot and if my fringe looked really perfectly neat and tidy and very straight, but I love wearing my hair down!
Favourite Perfume For Summer?
I'm still using up a perfume I got for Christmas a few years back which is the YSL ELLE Summer fragrance, but recently I got a mini perfume oil from The Body Shop in the Madagascan Vanilla Flower scent which is also lovely. It's also compact as it comes in a cute little bottle too.
Favourite Music For Summer?
Well this is a hard one. I could go on and on with this topic, but I will restrain myself from rambling too much, hopefully. I like summery dance songs like Duke Dumont - I got you, David Guetta- Sexy Chick, Dizzee Rascal- Holiday. I also love the classic summery songs like Will Smith- Summertime and Shaggy- In The Summertime and perhaps any other slightly reggae sounding songs that you can chill out to.
Thanks so much Molly for tagging me to do this, it was fun thinking up all the answers to these questions! :)

I found that I like wearing dresses now, too. My legs feel freer and gets more air circulation, haha! :)
