Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio Overview

I saw this little brush set in Superdrug and I just had to pick it up. It comes packed with three mini brushes from the Real Techniques collection. There's the mini face brush, the mini shading brush and the mini foundation brush. My idea is to take these brushes with me when I'm travelling or when I have to reapply my makeup on the go. I'm going to use the mini face brush as my powder brush as it can actually pick up plenty of product even though it is small. The mini shading brush will be my on the go eye shadow brush to pack the colour onto my eyes quickly but I think I'm going to use the mini foundation brush as a brush to blend in my concealer as I find it a bit too small to use for my normal foundation application. However that doesn't matter too much as most of the time I put my foundation on using my fingers anyway. In terms of strength the brushes last well when washed as none of the bristles have fallen out so far, which I know wouldn't have happened anyway because Real Techniques brushes are such great quality. They perform so well for affordable makeup brushes. I really recommend these brushes a lot as they perform brilliantly well and they are the perfect size to pop in your bag wherever you are heading off to.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

See you soon xxx

  1. I use the foundation for concealer too, I like using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush for my foundation :)

    1. I use the Expert Face Brush for contouring as it's small enough to fit between your cheekbone if you get what I mean. x

    2. Ah, I get what you mean. I use the buffing brush to contour - I don't think I use any of my brushes for what they were made for, aha. Btw, I nominated you to do the Liebster Award :)

  2. I bought the real techniques core collection set which is quite good and the brush hairs don't fall out which is also good but generally I prefer to use my fingers to apply concealer!

    1. Oh I do use my fingers to cover spots but sometimes I prefer to use a brush to blend in my concealer that I put on my dark circles, just to smooth it out a bit. x

  6. I need that set! I've been hauling around huge makeup brushes when I go traveling. Never thought about the whole travel size brush concept.

  9. This is such a cute set of brushes, not seen them before! I have a load of RT brushes and they really are good, but I find the best brushes for foundation application are the Sigma brushes. Bit more expensive, but a completely flawless application. I use RT for everything else though!
