Lipstick Obsession- Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks

It's come to my attention that I am obsessed with lipsticks. I have loads and probably way to much than I actually need. However it's very rare that I will have the same lipstick in a multitude of shades, but in this case I have 4 of the same Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks. The formula is just lovely. They're glossy, they have brilliant pigmentation to them and they do help to keep your lips feeling soft for real. The only set back is that obviously they're not going to be the most longest wearing of all lipsticks, but who cares when the colours look amazing on your lips.

From left to right- In Love With Ginger, Let's Get Naked, Notting Hill Nude, then below them Latino.

So first let's talk about In Love With Ginger as it's the first one in both photos. This is just stunning. Absolutely stunning! It's a gorgeous orange red that's really bright on the lips, but it does mean that you can wear a striking lip colour with hardly any eye makeup for maximum impact, so you don't have to put loads of makeup on with it. Apparently some people say that it's a dupe for Mac's Morange, so if you want a colour like that for a more affordable price, then I suggest you get this lipstick. Back to the Rimmel one, it's one I would wear on a great, or at least a good skin day as there's more chance of people looking at you whilst you're wearing a bright lip (in other words I would wear it when I have virtually no spots to cover up haha).

Next is Let's Get Naked. This is the newest shade that I have and it's very quickly grown on me. At first when I tried this and even before when I swatched it on my hand I thought this may be too light for me. But actually I was pleasantly surprised! It's a beautiful soft pink which is great to wear in the summer like now, but I will definitely carry on wearing it in Autumn when I feel like wearing a soft pop of colour on my lips. It's a lovely shade.

Third we have a classic brown nude that's creeping it's way onto my favourite lipsticks list, it's Notting Hill Nude. I've never found a brown nude lipstick that's suits me before until I picked up this one. I wasn't sure in the beginning that I could pull it off, but I like it as it's definitely a more grown up looking shade, which is a change to the ever growing collection of bright lipsticks that I seem to keep buying. I think because it's darker as well it makes my lips look bigger for some reason, which I love. Who doesn't want plumper looking lips?

Lastly we have Latino a unique purpleish pink shade that has a bit of shimmer to it. It's the oldest one in my collection as you can see from the older style of packaging, but it's still going strong for now. I wear this a lot, it's one of my all time favourite lipsticks. In fact I'm pretty sure it was featured in my June Favourites. I think it would suit Autumn season looks particularly well because of the purple hint running through it (if you get what I mean). It's really pretty and I think it would suit a lot of people.

Wearing Latino (sorry  I think the lighting changed here as my face looks slightly washed out, so the lipstick should look slightly darker than this really).

I really hope you enjoyed reading this post and I hope that it persuaded you to check out these lipsticks. They really are very good. Are you devoted to any particular range of lipsticks? I'd love to know what brands you all love :)

See you soon xxx
