Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation

I had been on the hunt for a drugstore powder foundation for ages but now I think I may have found the perfect one for me. The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Powder Foundation in 003 Silky Beige gives pretty decent coverage without feeling like you are wearing loads of powder on your face. It comes with a handy little squared sponge to apply it with and I think it's a really great sponge to apply the powder with as it picks up enough product to easily apply it. The main reason why I was looking for an affordable powder foundation was because recently I just couldn't be bothered with putting on liquid foundation or even a BB, CC or whatever cream to my face especially as the weather has been heating up now, but also I was taking waaaay to much time putting on my makeup in the mornings for work. Using this foundation has definitely saved me a bit of time in the mornings (mind you sometimes I'm still a little bit late for other reasons haha) as you are basically putting on both a foundation and powder in one and I'm so glad I can now skip a step. Even though the coverage is pretty good I still wear some concealer underneath as I always have a spot or two to cover up, but if I only had redness to cover up then I wouldn't even bother with putting on concealer first. The longevity of this powder foundation is pretty great, I think it lasts the whole 8 hours while I'm in work so that's quite impressive, even my nose doesn't suddenly get oily which is what tends to happen haha. So overall I'm a really big fan of this affordable powder foundation and if you are planning to go to Boots or Superdrug soon then I highly recommend checking it out, especially as it's only £6.99 it's worth it just for that price tag.

What it looks like on (excuse my no eye or lip makeup face I just wanted to show you all what it looks like on it's own before you add any more makeup to your face)

I hope you liked the review

    1. Yeah it's sooo good, I was so surprised that I ended up liking it so much. The only other one I've tried in the past was Magic Minerals but eventually that one broke me out, so this one is so much better. :) x

  2. I'll have to pick this one up! I've been using the NYC powder in Transparent and I've been looking for a new brand to try! Thanks for the recommendation xo

  3. To be honest I think I prefer the usual liquid type foundation, but I might pick it up then. It sounds quite good from your review. But I'm like you, I can't bother with anything liquid on my face due to this hot weather haha!

    1. Yeah exactly, at least when you're wearing a powder foundation nothing's going to slip and slide off your face haha x
