Healthy-ish Snack Ideas

Recently I've been on the look out for more healthier snack alternatives because the snacks I usually eat tend to consist of either being chocolate, cake, biscuits or pretty much anything that is labelled as 'bad for you'. So while I was looking for new foods to indulge in, I found 3 really tasty but healthy-ish snacks.

First up is my favourite find out of everything and this is the Propercorn Sweet & Salty popcorn. This stuff is the best popcorn I've ever tried in my life! The sweet popcorn is just sweet enough to satisfy your taste buds and the salty popcorn has just the right amount of salt in it to give you that instant kick of flavour. Usually you may not consider popcorn to be that healthy, but this type is because of these numerous stats:

1. It's only 129 calories per pack.
2. It's GM Free
3. It's also Gluten & Wheat Free

In conclusion this is a packet of brilliance and you should all try it if you are obsessed with popcorn like me. I think I've said popcorn too much now, let's move on...

Next up are these Rude Health Corn Thins snacks which are basically corn versions of rice cakes.  I definitely prefer these to rice cakes, they are less messy to eat and personally I think they taste much better. I'm guessing I like these because obviously as they are made of corn there are similarities to the last snack I mentioned but also they don't taste bland which is what I expected at first, luckily I was wrong because I love these. Also they have several health benefits they are:

1. Gluten free
2. High in fibre
3. Contain organic whole grains
4. GM free
5 Also there's no added artificial things

Last but not least we have the most popular snacks of our household which are the DS Gluten Free Crispbread snacks. The only way I could describe these are that they are kind of like those malt style crisps you get but made into a square and without any intense flavour to it. Literally everyone in our house cannot stops eating these. They are just really great to snack on because they are very quick and easy to eat and you can eat them on their own or you could add anything you want on them to give them a bit more flavour. The benefits are:

1.Gluten free
2. Wheat free
3. Low in fat
4.And low in saturated fat

I really hope you enjoyed this random post, but like I've mentioned in my last post I've wanted to branch out a bit more in terms of my blog content, so this is kind of an example of that.

Thanks for reading my blog! xxx
