I've heard a few good things about these new Bourjois Colorband Eyeshadow & Liner pencils, so I thought I would check them out. I swatched a few of the shades in store: a bronze brown, a champagne gold and a mauve shade called 05 Mauve Baroque which is the one I bought. The reason why I gravitated towards this shade instead of the others is because I don't own any purple eyeshadows, so I thought that I would give this one a try. Also this shade looked like a more wearable purple shade than what I've seen before and it is in fact really easy to wear as it suits me surprisingly.
Here are the shades I swatched including the purple shade.
Firstly I love how easy the application is because it's a pencil eyeshadow so it glides onto the eye lid very well. The pigmentation is strong but you can build up the colour, so you can wear it as a wash of colour or you can really make the colour pop by applying more. In terms of longevity it's pretty amazing. I put it on in the morning about 10am and it lasted well into the early evening, so that's really good! What's great is that even though it's long lasting you can remove it very easily with whatever makeup remover/cleanser you like to use as it comes off really well.

I hope you liked this review. I was very impressed with these eyeshadow pencils and for £5.99 they are great value for money, so I will definitely get more shades in the future. If you've tried any of them tell me what you think of them, I'd love to know your opinion on them.
