If you watch lots of Youtube videos or you read plenty of blogs, you will certainly know who Tanya Burr is and you will know that she has her own makeup range. Very recently she released her new collection called the Soft Luxe Collection which has a range of eyeshadow quads, nail varnishes and matte lip glosses. I knew I wanted to try something from the range so I decided to get one of the matte lip colours in the shade Martha Moo which is cutely named after Tanya's puppy Martha. I decided to go for this one because it's a slightly different kind of shade to some other liquid lipsticks I've seen before as it's a browny pink colour and I haven't seen any other brands do that kind of shade before.
This soft matte lip colour glides on very easily to the lips and it takes about 5 minutes for it to properly set, so you have some time to apply it and to layer the colour as much as you like. Like with all of Tanya's other lip products the pigmentation is flipping amazing so you don't need to worry about the colour not standing out because trust me it does. Once it's dry it sets down to a comfortable matte finish, liquid lipstick type feel and it doesn't budge for hours ( it lasted about 7 hours on me and that's with having 3 meals and drinks throughout the day). It's such a great lip product, I love it! One thing to note is that it does dry a bit darker than when you first put it on but like I mentioned the colour you get from this shade is a brown pink shade which gives you that 90s lip look, but a more subtle version of it if you like.

I hope you all enjoyed this review and let me know what you think of Tanya's new range. Do you like it and what is your favourite product from it?

Liquid lipsticks have been around for a while now however I've only recently been giving them a good go and I think I've found the ones I like and the ones I'm not that keen on. The most recent brand I've tried is Jouer which if you're in the UK they sell it on Cult Beauty.com, so I ordered them from there (also delivery was pretty quick which is good). I ordered two from the Long-Wear Lip Creme range which provides a range of shades from nude/ daytime pink shades to bold bright pinks and reds. I bought the shade Melon which is a pink nude shade and Framboise which is a warm bright pink shade and I'm really happy with both of them.
Melon is the perfect everyday and night nude that will suit lots of people and any occasion you can think of. As it's a liquid lipstick both shades last pretty well if you drink or eat something, obviously there would be more chance of needing a top up if you eat whilst wearing these, but they still do a good job at staying around for a while and because Melon's a nude colour you don't notice it disappear as much as you would with the brighter colours. Without eating and drinking these will pretty much last all day, so you could wear it for about 5 or 6 hours whatever and it will still be there until you're suddenly hungry haha.
Framboise is a warm hot pink that would look great with a more natural eye look as it stands out so much. The great thing about these is that you can make them as intense as you want by just simply adding more coats of it before it finally dries down to a completely matte finish.

Overall I'm really pleased I bought these liquid lipsticks as they provide great colour payoff, last a long time and they are packaged in a sophisticated, sleek and a compact way that they will fit in any handbag and makeup bags you put them in. They are £14.00 if you want to buy one and I really think you should as you have a great shade range to choose from and they perform very well.
I hope you liked this review. Have you tried the Jouer liquid lipsticks yet? If you have what do you think of them, I'd love to know.

I was watching a Youtube video recently talking about new beauty releases and in the video the beauty guru talked about the new Revlon lip product release- the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour and instantly I was intrigued. Initially they are meant to be an affordable liquid lipstick that's matte so it's meant to stay on your lips for a good amount of time. I bought two when I last went into Superdrug as I wanted to test them out.
Devotion is a warmed toned muted bright pink colour, so like a wearable, daytime kind of pink shade and I like it a lot. It adds a bit of a punch to a daytime look or you could wear it as part of an evening look with perhaps a brown smokey eye or something like that and it would work really well. I can tell it will be a shade I will reach for a lot.

The other shade I got was Seduction a gorgeous and very wearable warm nude with slight brown undertones to it, but it's definitely not a brown nude so don't worry if you are not keen on brown lipsticks as this is easy to wear as it is a proper nude shade. Again I think if I want a nude lipstick I will definitely reach for this one time and time again as the pigmentation is great and like I've already mentioned a thousand times it will be so easy to wear.

I think these liquid lipsticks are great, there are 7 shades to choose from if you are from the UK (I know in the US you can get an extra shade called Temptation which I really wanted to get, however that shade's not included in the UK so we have to settle with 7 but that's ok!)I think this product mostly has great points like having great pigmentation where you can swipe over once for a more subdued look or twice for full pigmentation, it's easy to apply and once applied it feels comfortable to wear. The only downsides are that it only lasts around 4, maybe 4 and a half hours if you are lucky and that's without eating or drinking so it's not going to be stuck on your lips for that long and also it can slightly accentuate dry patches, so just make sure you've gotton rid of all the dry patches and then put lip balm on before you wear them. They retail for £8.99 and you can get them from drugstores and any supermarkets that sell makeup, but if you see them do give them a try, I really recommend them, especially as Revlon have made some of the best lip products in the last few years and these could be some peoples new favourites too.
I hope you liked this review, let me know what you think of them in the comments.
Thanks so much for reading :)

So I knew that I already had enough lipsticks to probably last me a lifetime, but I have wanted to try this new Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick for soooo long now that I had to cave in and buy it. I didn't know what shade I wanted to try, so I went for 04 Peach Club. Now because of the name I thought that this would be a typical peach colour with perhaps a bit more brightness to it as these liquid lipsticks are known to have almost all bright shades in their range. However I was slightly shocked when the colour actually came out as more of a light orange/red peachy colour. It was a good shock though, not a bad shock as I really like bright lipsticks but I was still pretty surprised at the whole situation haha.
In terms of application it goes on really well. It's easy to apply. You can apply one coat for a slightly less in your face colour or you can apply two or more for a really strong in your face kind of colour. The applicator is like a typical lip gloss applicator which makes it easy to put it on your lips, so you can get the colour as precise as you want it to be. A word of warning though, as these dry matte and stain your lips, if you make a mistake clear it up as soon as possible otherwise you will be stuck with that mistake for pretty much the rest of the day if you have nothing to clear it up with. Like I said it's very long lasting. I'd say it lasts for a good 6 to 8 hours, but sometimes a tiny bit of it can be seen on your cup of tea, or whatever but apart from that it doesn't really budge from your lips. A tip of mine would be to put lip balm on before hand but don't apply the lipstick straight away, leave it for around twenty minutes or so, then you won't loose the matte look you will get once you've applied the lipstick on top. However even if you don't put lip balm on, this product is surprisingly soft on the lips and so it doesn't feel like you are wearing a matte long lasting lip product, but of course you are! This is such a brilliant product and I think it's actually my favourite makeup product of the year so far. I may have to buy another shade of it. I really, really love it!
I really hope you enjoyed this review. What do you think of these Bourjois liquid lipsticks?
See you soon xxx
