Charlotte Tilbury has to be one of my most loved beauty brands of all time. The fact that it's created by a makeup artist means that you know you are going to get some incredible products as they can put all of their knowledge into creating a fabulous collection. I love so many products from Charlotte's range- her lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, lip liners, she just has a brilliant range of products and more recently she brought back her very popular Instant Look In A Palette however this time she's also brought out a second one called Seductive Beauty which is more of a deeper/warmer version of the original palette. If you missed it the first time round the Instant Look In A Palette is a brilliant on-the-go face and eyes palette that provides you with 3 eyeshadows, 2 blushers a bronzer and a highlighter all in one, so it's great for doing your everyday makeup with (it's even small enough to fit in a larger handbag so that you can take it with you if you need to). The Seductive Beauty Palette is definitely aimed more towards people that have a warmer undertone to their skin, especially as the two blushers and bronzer are more deeper in tone than in the original palette.
I'll go into detail more about what the shades look like, first I'll start off with the eyeshadows. The first shade on the left hand side is an off white highlighter shade that has a touch of shimmer running through it which you can apply all over the lid or just in the inner corner to enhance your eyes. The next shade is more of a slightly taupe light brown that you could also use as a crease colour to gently add shape and definition to the socket line. The last shade which is known as the 'smoke shade' is a deep chocolate brown that's great at adding intensity to the outer corner of the eye, or if you want to create a dramatic look you could definitely apply this to the socket line and it will give you such an amazing chisled look to the eyes.
Next up we have the two blush shades. The 'cheek swish' is a beautiful light warm pink that adds a gentle touch of colour to the cheek. Then the 'cheek pop' shade is a slightly more intense warm pink shade which you are meant to dab to the apples of your cheeks.
Then we have the bronzer and the highlighter. The bronzer is quite a deep tan colour that you have to apply very lightly so that you don't accidently put too much on. The highlighter is actually one of my favourite things about this palette as it's a stunning but natural light pink higlighter however the shade is light enough that you can put as little or as much you want on, it's up to you.
I think this palette is such a little gem as it's portable but yet it has all the colours you need to create a pretty everyday makeup look. This palette is limited edition so I would definitely get it now if you really do love the look of it-and I know you'll love it as I use it pretty much most days to create a look I know I'll love.
I hope you liked this review and let me know if you've used this palette or not and what you think of it, I'd love to know!

Not too long ago I received a newsletter e-mail from L'Oreal saying that people could try out their new Nude Magique Cushion foundation, so I filled out my details and then patiently waited for the foundation to arrive so that I could try it out and review it. Not too long after that it arrived and I tried it straight away because I was so excited to use this product as I've never tried anything like it before. I know other brands started making them before (I think Lancome may have been the first?) however this is the first drugstore version so it's quite exciting.
I decided to pick the shade 03 and luckily it pretty much matches my skin tone perfectly so that was lucky! Sometimes when it comes to samples you can pick totally the wrong shade and then it ruins everything which is not great, but thank goodness I didn't this time haha. Anyway this is a very lightweight foundation but I do think it can be built up if you wanted it to provide more coverage for you. One good thing for this time of year is that it has SPF 29, so if you are out in the sun it will provide some sun protection for you which is fab!
As you can see once opened you get a sponge applicator to apply the foundation with. I actually think it's quite a good sponge to apply it with, the only thing I would say is because it's quite a small sponge you will need to wash it after a few uses, at least once a week. I like that you get a mirror with it, it just adds to the cute packaging of the whole thing.
This is what it looks like inside once you've lifted the lid. You see the 'cushion' part straight away and underneath that is where the liquid foundation is. So all you do is get the sponge applicator, pat it into the cushion foundation and then when you apply it you can either pat it in or you can glide it across you're face. What I liked about this is that it was pretty quick to apply and you also didn't need much of the product to stretch around the whole face which is good, but like I mentioned before you will need to add another layer if you want a more medium type of coverage. I still powdered my face afterwards becuase otherwise my makeup will just disappear, so if you have oily-combination skin just keep that in mind, but if you have drier skin then there probably won't be as much need to powder.
What it looks like when it's applied
Overall I do quite like this foundation as I like the compact design of it and the product itself is pretty good. The only thing that puts me off buying it once it's run out is that when it's off promotion it will be £14.99 I think, which personally I think is a bit too pricey for something that's so compact. Maybe if I suddenly had to do a lot of travelling I would think about buying it as I feel it would be great for that but if you're not going far I think the price is just a bit steep for what it is. If you do want to buy it now it's on promotion in Boots and Superdrug for £9.99 which is a much better price, so I highly recommend buying it now if you want to try it out and then if you like it you can stock up on a few before the price increase.
I really hope you liked this review. Have you tried out the Cushion Foundation yet? If you have let me know what you think of it in the comments bellow, I'd love to know.
