I don't always buy into the whole YouTuber/blogger products industry however if I feel that a certain product does genuinely match up to what the person is passionate about then I do sometimes buy into what they are trying to promote. In this case I bought two of the new Tanya Burr Cosmetics Lipsticks from Tanya Burr's makeup line. In the past I have bought a few of her lip glosses and I was really impressed by them, so I thought that I would give these a go too.

The two shades I got were Pink Cocoa and Big Kiss. Pink Cocoa is a really pretty and interesting pinky browny nude which is a similar colour to her liquid lip product in the shade Martha Moo. Big Kiss is a lovely slightly cool toned dark red which is perfect for Autumn and Winter time. The formula of these is like a traditional lipstick, so it's not matte nor glossy as it's somewhere in the middle, but I'm glad to say that it sits and stays on the lips really well. Longevity wise it lasts for about 4 hours on me and then the colour does start to disappear and of course if you are eating something like a big meal then most of it will come off as it's not a matte lipstick.

Packaging wise it's absolutely gorgeous! The lipstick is surrounded by gold casing which makes it look very high end even though it's a £6.99 lipstick, so that's great. The pigmentation is brilliant, one swatch and you can see the colour instantly on your hand and so then when you apply it to your lips it doesn't take long to build up the colour to how it should be.

If you watch lots of Youtube videos or you read plenty of blogs, you will certainly know who Tanya Burr is and you will know that she has her own makeup range. Very recently she released her new collection called the Soft Luxe Collection which has a range of eyeshadow quads, nail varnishes and matte lip glosses. I knew I wanted to try something from the range so I decided to get one of the matte lip colours in the shade Martha Moo which is cutely named after Tanya's puppy Martha. I decided to go for this one because it's a slightly different kind of shade to some other liquid lipsticks I've seen before as it's a browny pink colour and I haven't seen any other brands do that kind of shade before.

This soft matte lip colour glides on very easily to the lips and it takes about 5 minutes for it to properly set, so you have some time to apply it and to layer the colour as much as you like. Like with all of Tanya's other lip products the pigmentation is flipping amazing so you don't need to worry about the colour not standing out because trust me it does. Once it's dry it sets down to a comfortable matte finish, liquid lipstick type feel and it doesn't budge for hours ( it lasted about 7 hours on me and that's with having 3 meals and drinks throughout the day). It's such a great lip product, I love it! One thing to note is that it does dry a bit darker than when you first put it on but like I mentioned the colour you get from this shade is a brown pink shade which gives you that 90s lip look, but a more subtle version of it if you like.

Lip gloss is not an item of makeup that I'm completely in love with, however I do find in the summer months I do start whipping it out more often than before because once the weather does get hot sometimes you don't feel like wearing a full on heavy looking pout, but yet you still want to add some colour and definition to your lips. Now that I've actually built up a small collection of lip glosses I'd thought I would show you what ones I have in my collection and why I like them so much.

So let's take a look at the shades:

Rimmel London Vinyl Gloss lip gloss in Take A Chance- Is a pretty everyday pink with a touch of gold shimmer to it, so it makes it more of a girly shade, however it's not that shimmery where it's too in your face to wear it which is what makes it very wearable.

Barry M Lip Gloss in shade 2: This is my go-to and only nude lip gloss. It's the perfect pinky browny nude with high pigmentation and with just enough shine to wear for the day time, but it's pigmented enough to wear as an evening nude lip gloss if you wanted to wear it then as well because the colour payoff is so great. Another great point is that it smells of caramel, yum. They've actually discontinued this particular range of lip glosses but they've replaced it with another lip gloss which is practically the same shade as this one, however the shade number is now 6 (from what I remember anyway haha).

Tanya Burr lip glosses in Afternoon Tea, Picnic In The Park and Aurora: Ok so these are my favourite lip glosses ever in the whole wide world and I know that's a huge statement to make but it's true for many reasons. One is that they are extremely pigmented, they almost look like sheer liquid lipsticks once they are on the lips as they are that colourful. Next is that they are really glossy without being overly sticky, like how does that ever usually happen, but with these they do as they have the right amount of stickyness to stay on the lips but they have the perfect glossy finish to make your lips look amazing. The other reason why I love them is because they give your lips that plumped up 3D effect which other glosses promise you to give but they never do. The three shades I have are: Afternoon Tea which is a pale nudey pink shade so it's great for any look really (this one does look paler on me than I thought it would but I think I can just about get away with wearing it), Picnic In The Park which is a fab warmed toned summery pink colour that adds real ooomph to your look and is my fave out of the three and then there's Aurora which is a slightly purple pink toned gloss that looks very gorgeous and it's a shade you don't usually find from other brands.

I really hoped you enjoyed reading about my favourite lip glosses. What are your favourite lip glosses?

Yes I know I have a bit of a problem with buying lip products, I have an ever growing collection of them, but I had to finally buy a Tanya Burr lip gloss as I have heard that they are amazing. I'm not just saying this because I'm a huge fan of Tanya, but these lip glosses are honestly the best lip glosses I've ever used. Ever! I have the shade 'Aurora', a beautiful candy pink colour and I can't stop wearing it as it's a very practical colour that goes with any makeup look as it's suited for day and night.

You can see it has the typical sponge like applicator, accept this one is completely flat on both sides which makes applying the lip gloss easier to do as it pacts more colour onto the applicator, so it takes you less time to cover your whole lips. One of the reasons why this has to be the best lip gloss is that the pigmentation is OUTSTANDING. It packs as much colour on your lips as a slightly sheer lipstick does, which for a gloss is pretty impressive if I say so myself. Also the longevity is brilliant. This gloss stays on your lips for hours. About 4-5 hours at least, and even after the glossy shine disappears, I noticed that the colour leaves a slight stain on your lips, probably because of how pigmented it is. I highly recommend you buy at least one of her lip glosses. There are loads of colours to choose from and I know I will have to get more. I'm definitely eyeing up 'Picnic In The Park' as I'm looking for a bright pink lip gloss to replace one that I've now used up.

I really hope you enjoyed this review. I love wearing this lip gloss so much. Maybe it will end up in a September Favourites later this month. :)

See you soon xxx
