I was watching a Youtube video recently talking about new beauty releases and in the video the beauty guru talked about the new Revlon lip product release- the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour and instantly I was intrigued. Initially they are meant to be an affordable liquid lipstick that's matte so it's meant to stay on your lips for a good amount of time. I bought two when I last went into Superdrug as I wanted to test them out.
Devotion is a warmed toned muted bright pink colour, so like a wearable, daytime kind of pink shade and I like it a lot. It adds a bit of a punch to a daytime look or you could wear it as part of an evening look with perhaps a brown smokey eye or something like that and it would work really well. I can tell it will be a shade I will reach for a lot.

The other shade I got was Seduction a gorgeous and very wearable warm nude with slight brown undertones to it, but it's definitely not a brown nude so don't worry if you are not keen on brown lipsticks as this is easy to wear as it is a proper nude shade. Again I think if I want a nude lipstick I will definitely reach for this one time and time again as the pigmentation is great and like I've already mentioned a thousand times it will be so easy to wear.

I think these liquid lipsticks are great, there are 7 shades to choose from if you are from the UK (I know in the US you can get an extra shade called Temptation which I really wanted to get, however that shade's not included in the UK so we have to settle with 7 but that's ok!)I think this product mostly has great points like having great pigmentation where you can swipe over once for a more subdued look or twice for full pigmentation, it's easy to apply and once applied it feels comfortable to wear. The only downsides are that it only lasts around 4, maybe 4 and a half hours if you are lucky and that's without eating or drinking so it's not going to be stuck on your lips for that long and also it can slightly accentuate dry patches, so just make sure you've gotton rid of all the dry patches and then put lip balm on before you wear them. They retail for £8.99 and you can get them from drugstores and any supermarkets that sell makeup, but if you see them do give them a try, I really recommend them, especially as Revlon have made some of the best lip products in the last few years and these could be some peoples new favourites too.
I hope you liked this review, let me know what you think of them in the comments.
Thanks so much for reading :)
